Brick dedication at Rotary Park

The Rotary Club of Saskatoon Nutana will hold our annual brick dedication at the Rotary Peace Plaza at 12 noon on September 28th. The program will be planned by EcoJustic program students from St. Anne School.  Guests are welcome at the park.  Lunch will be served to those on the guest list only.

 

Our club has decided that this year a commemorative brick will be dedicated in the name of Rigoberta Menchu Tum , Rigoberta Menchú Tum - Facts - NobelPrize.org the Peace Prize awardee from 1992. We thought honouring her will have a special significance as Canada continues to find its way to Truth and Reconciliation as well as the commitment our club has made towards the new building for St. Frances Cree Bilingual School.
