Yes, it's back! The second annual Cow Plop Bingo is here on Sunday, June 14th and it's more exciting than ever. This family friendly event starts off at 12 noon with a community barbecue with proceeds supporting literacy and food insecurity here in Saskatoon. There is FREE live entertainment by Stan Garchinski and Matt Johner and kids area including petting zoo, face painting and a playground on site. This again, is all free for you to come out and enjoy. At 2 pm the main event happens. We have not one, but two cows coming into the arena area. There are 1000 squares chalked onto the floor of the arena which relate to 1000 tickets sold. (Purchase your tickets online or in person with one of our Rotarians). The cows will have 1 hour to "plop" onto a square. The winner is the person who has purchased the ticket for the square belonging to the first "plop". Ben Brooks and Steve Chisholm (Moo Crew from CJWW) are our official judges for the event. The winner will take home $2000. If you are in person on June 14th at Sutherland School Yard, you can also take advantage of the second raffle. For $5.00 you can purchase one or more tickets and place your portion in bin 1 or 2. If cow 1, Moolah, plops first, we randomly choose a ticket from her bin to win 50% of the proceeds of the total 50/50 tickets. We do the same from bin 2 if cow 2, Pattie, plops first. This year we have Cow Plop t-shirts and hats you can purchase. These can only be purchased by E-transfer and can be picked up at the event on June 14th. For information on hats and t-shirts, please click on the order form in the attachments section below.
Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket as seating is limited. We prefer you bring cash for the barbeque and 50/50 draw. Once tickets and merchandise are purchased, there will be no refunds or cancellations.
