Members of the club recently participated in a BELRAG (Basic Education and Literacy Rotary Action Group) fundraiser. Members purchased multiple copies of the Britannica Kid's Encyclopedias for personal use or donation into the community. 4 members (Dr. Robert Devrome, Kim Horan, Peggy Clark and Boris Kischuk) donated 7 copies of the books to St. Frances Cree Bilingual School (Darren Fradette, Principal accepting), Read Saskatoon (Kat Reed, Saskatoon Communications Ccordinator accepting) and Open Door Society (Alessia, Case Management Support Worker accepting). Thank you to everyone that participated. Clubs in the district purchase 150 Encyclopedias for the fundraiser. These books will provide hours of entertainment, reading and learning for many kids.
